Blacks done in Illustrator, painted in Photoshop. About 14ish hours to complete. The PSD file topped out at 841.1MB. Definitely the largest digital painting I’ve done so far.

Johnny Unitas

Here’s legendary Baltimore Colt Johnny Unitas looking for that “Wide” receiver. Is that good enough to fit this week’s IF category, “Wide”? I hope so.

This is one of my recent favorites. My old graffiti tag “SPORG” comes back to life in this piece. Completely digital and done entirely in Photoshop. I even managed to squeeze in a dragon and a zombie!

Bhub Getting His A$$ Kicked

Now this was a fun project! I took an original photo, and manipulated it to (hopefully!) create a feeling of violence, urgency, and action. I think it turned out really well. If only the photo was taken with a better quality camera. Nonetheless, I’m happy with the final result. It was a good exercise. All photoshop.

The guy in the photo is a good friend of mine. He’s on the ’space, so shoot him a friend request.

2 Dragons Fighting

I’m not huge on “Abstract Art” but as a designer, sometimes you just need to do something abstract! This piece is of 2 dragons fighting. See ‘em? Trust me, they’re in there.

Earth Quilt

Here we have a “quilt” of good ol’ Earth. I think it turned out kind of cool. This is essentially a photo manipulation project done entirely in Photoshop. The original was printed and placed on display in the ADIM art show.

I prefer illustration to pho-manip, but hey sometimes you gotta try new things to grow as an artist.

Hillary War and Peace

You know her. Either you love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she might very well be the next president of these United States. Don’t know aboot you, but that makes me worry. We are living in dangerous times, and I hope that all of you are paying attention.

Done in Illustrator. This piece was a lot of fun. I hope you like it.
