So as you know I have been working on my new “web based graphic novel” (erm, webcomic) Lilith Dark for a few months now. I have what I think is a good buffer of weeklies, and I have a pretty firm grasp on the first major story arc. For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be working on scripting and drawing to have an even bigger buffer of pages. My biggest worry is that I’ll launch the comic, and then have no time to keep up. I don’t want Lilith Dark to be known for being late.
I would like to formally announce that this Fall, I will be debuting my latest project, Lilith Dark. Lilith Dark will be an ongoing serialized webcomic strip based on the world of young Lilith Dark, a highly imaginative and adventurous little girl. Lilith Dark is a character near and dear to me, and I hope that you’ll all check it out once it’s released. My goal is to release one full color page of art per week, most likely on Wednesdays.

On Friday, May 21, 2010 I received two awards for my work. The first was a third place award for my animation titled “Ladybug”, which stars a sad liitle guy and a ladybug(Watch the animation below), and the second was a first place award for my digital art piece titled “Don’t Tell Mommy” (click the thumbnail to the left to view).
I am proud to have some of my latest art on display in this year’s CCBC student art show. It’s an honor to have been invited back to participate with my exceptionally talented former classmates in this collection of select art students.
Last week I debuted my series of Fairy Tale sketch cards, and this week I humbly present to you the second half of the project, my Alice in Wonderland sketch card set!

The CDowd Art-A-Palooza!
I’ll be drawing live on my new Ustream channel a couple of times a week (as time allows), and posting the occassional video highlights right here on the ol’ blog. Follow me on Twitter and Facebook for immediate updates on when I’ll be broadcasting.
In this episode, I introduce myself, go over how I draw lines, and do a little sketching in Illustrator. Notice how the words don’t match my mouth like in old kung fu movies. I’ll figure this all out soon, but for now please enjoy the low rent nonsense!
I’ll be debuting TWO brand new digital prints at the CCBC Catonsville Art Gallery on Monday, April 26th through May 21, 2010 as part of the CCBC/ADIM Transfer Student Show. Along with the two new pieces, I’ll have a number of other pieces on display as well, most never before shown offline.
This is a big show for me and the other artists involved. I’d love for you all to come out and see the work in person. I’ll be in attendance for the the official reception on Friday, May 14th from 5-8pm. It’s open to the public so come out, support local artists, and get some culture. Great for date night with your sweetie!
